  • Le CÉF nomme deux leaders pédagogiques à des postes administratifs clés

    Regina, 24 août 2016 – Le Conseil des écoles fransaskoises nomme Gisèle Lalonde à la coordination des services aux élèves, et François Massé, à titre de Conseiller éducatif avec le mandat d’accompagner les directions d’école, a annoncé aujourd’hui le Directeur général à l’éducation du CÉF, Bernard Roy.

    Bernard Roy a d’ailleurs fait valoir que « la mise en place d’équipes de collaboration visant à analyser le rendement des élèves et d’harmoniser les pratiques efficaces au sein des établissements du CÉF est un élément important du nouveau Plan stratégique quinquennal adopté par le CSF. Cela s’inscrit dans la continuité des efforts déployés afin de soutenir la réussite des élèves. Ces deux nominations permettront d’assurer que le succès de la démarche soit au rendez-vous. »

  • 2016-2017 School Year Welcome Message: from the desk of CÉF joint co-executive directors

    Dear Parents,

    Let us welcome you back on occasion of the CÉF’s inauguration of the 2016-2017 school year. You will find that our school staff is genuinely involved in the educational mission of the CÉF, which is committed to the academic success of your child. In our schools, you will meet other parents like you who want the best education for their children, not only in French first language, but also the very best education available anywhere in Saskatchewan.

    The considerable reduction of the CÉF’s long-term debt and the adoption by the Francophone school Board of a balanced budget in 2016-2017, will allow the organization to begin the school year in a context that will better enable it to fulfill its mission than it has been in the recent past.

    The Conseil des écoles fransaskoises wishes to provide you with pertinent information regarding transportation services for the 2016-2017 school-year.

    The transportation form is now available in the “Parents” section on the CÉF’s web site at www.ecolefrancophone.com .  We ask that every family complete a separate form for each child.

  • André Messier Named CÉF Deputy Executive Director of Education

    Regina, August 10, 2016 – The Conseil des écoles fransaskoises – Saskatchewan’s Francophone school division appointed André Messier as Deputy Executive Director of Education, CÉF’s Executive Director of Education Bernard Roy announced today.

    “We are pleased to have attracted a candidate of André Messier’s caliber. He is known as someone who posesses demonstrated experience in strategic planning and change management in large educational organizations”

    After a year full of consultations and multiple assessments, the Board Chair was keen to make an official announcement regarding changes to the senior management body at Conseil des écoles fransaskoises (CÉF).

  • A fresh look at the work of the CSF Board of trustees: Chair’s word

    Regina, Thursday, June 2, 2016 – Under the leadership of Chairman Alpha Barry, the Francophone schools board of trustees of the Conseil des écoles fransaskoises today launched a new approach to account for the work of elected officials to parents and the community.

    “From now on, Les Lendemains du CSF will will be replaced by Votre CSF en Bref. More than a name change, this communication will be the opportunity to share more relevant information after each regular session of the CSF. The summary of the highlights will be enhanced and delivered in an accessible language”

  • Alpha Barry elected Chair of the CSF

    Regina, Wednesday May 18, 2016 – The Conseil Scolaire Fransaskois (CSF) elected Alpha Barry Chair of Saskatchewan’s Francophone school board (CÉF) and Elizabeth Perreault Vice-Chair, as part of the organizational meeting of May 18, 2016 .

    “I thank the trustees for their confidence in me by electing me Chair,” said Alpha Barry. “I understand that the CSF Chair’s role is to create consensus, to regain the confidence of the Fransaskois community, particularly families and CSF electors. It is a unifying role and I hope to live up to the challenges facing the education system fransaskois in the coming months.”

  • Saskatchewan Francophone school board honors the memory of a former teacher

    Regina, May 11 2016 – The library of the elementary pavilion at École Monseigneur de Laval school in Regina will now be called ” Bibliothèque Suzette-Fafard ” in memory of a deceased teacher of Conseil des Écoles Fransaskoises, has decreed the Francophone school Board at its latest meeting on 9 May.

    “Her colleagues and her school community wanted to honor her memory, to preserve the memory of her contribution to Fransaskois education. Naming the school library in her honor, where she taught school seemed the most vivid recognition that could be bestowed her posthumously. “
